We went on our first Spring Break Getaway, traveling by day and night until we reached the distant city of SeaTac (ha ha). We crashed in a cheap hotel with pool and breakfast buffet, and hit the main attractions like the Pacific Science Center, Seattle Center (highlight: a fleet of Little Tykes plastic cars on buffed parquet floor for the free enjoyment of delirious youth), and pouring rain. The next morning we went to Point Deception State Park, and though the weather man promised it was going to snow and ruin the day, he was wrong. We had a lovely day despite him. The kids ran and swam and wore themselves out on Kid Zones of every stripe for two days straight and we all had a good time. You can even tell in the pictures. See?
The kids are alright.
