Party On

We Mayberrys have one party and we have it repeatedly, and you know what? It's always fun.

It goes like this: big spread of food, usually involving spinach dip; mismatched music on Shuffle in the CD player (last night ranged from T Rex to the Brian Setzer Christmas); overcrowded decorations (when it's Christmas and Scott's birthday, what can you do?); and of course, good people, most of them regulars to the Mayberry Fete, bless their hearts.

Last night also involved presents and a couple rounds of Scott's new game, Hoopla, which for the record is practically impossible but fun anyhow. There was break dancing, swing dancing, and kid dancing. There was lots of conversation, laughter, and children being charming. In other words, it was a great time.
